Our values

Yahil Ferry Ethics Manifesto

We are a company that focuses on the longevity and value of our products, not the expeditiousness of trends. At Yahil Ferry, we craft our backpacks and never compromise on moral principles or responsibility. Though small in number, we understand our role and significance in building a brighter, cleaner, and just tomorrow and hold ourselves to the highest standards on these tasks.

Ethical Processes - Sourcing + Manufacturing

Our core values are grounded in providing our customers with products that have been sourced and produced ethically throughout the Yahil Ferry process. We supply quality leather backpacks made from a trustworthy foundation of respect. From our partnerships with our employees, cattle + leather hide suppliers to our sole manufacturers, we set high standards for ethics in the backpack and leather industries. We visit and audit each partner regularly by our Head to monitor and certify that all labor and operations are being handled in an ethical manner and that all policies are being followed to ensure responsible manufacturing.

A Timeless Style

Unlike our competition, we are not focused on the trends of today and quick sales. We create backpacks that fit our creative community. We know our premium products always promise exclusive, close-cut designs, resiliency, and comfort. That’s the Yahil Ferry swag.

Slow Fashion Movement

The Yahil brand is conscious about creating products that won’t be required to replace every couple of years. This is the slow fashion manifesto. It is about designing, producing, consuming and living better. Slow fashion is not time-based but quality-based. Slow is not the opposite of fast – there is no dualism – but a different approach in which designers, buyers, retailers and consumers are more aware of the impacts of products on workers, communities and ecosystems. It requires a combination of rapid imaginative change and symbolic expression of fashion, as well as durability and long-term engaging, quality products. We truly believe in loving the few things you own. If you have less you can celebrate those few things more. Don’t treat anything as disposable.
